Uplawmoor Lawn Tennis Club

Welcome to the
Uplawmoor Lawn
Tennis Club website

We are a small club in the village of Uplawmoor, 15 miles south west of Glasgow, with three outdoor red blaes courts and around 80 members. Our season typically runs from late April to mid-September.

The club is a friendly place to play tennis, and we are very keen to welcome new members of all ages and standards. Many of our members live in the village, but we also attract players from nearby towns and villages such as Neilston, Dunlop and Barrhead.

For a small club we run a good number of men's, women's, women’s vets and junior teams. See details on the 'Teams' page. Thursday nights are club nights, when all members are welcome, and Monday is the Match Practice night for team players.

If you want to join us, please get in contact!

Members are invited to EGM

The Club is holding an Extraordinary General Meeting in the Mure Hall at 7.0pm on Monday May 14.
This will be a very short meeting and on the agenda will be the approval of the AGM minutes from 2011 and adoption of the new club constitution.
The meeting coincides with match practise, so why not combine a little tennis with helping us achieve the quorum needed to get the items passed.
